I am very happy to be presenting my recent work on “Learning not to learn: Nature versus nurture in silico” at the NeurIPS Meta Learning workshop. We investigate the interplay of ecological uncertainty, task complexity and expected lifetime on the amortized Bayesian inference performed by memory-based meta learners.
